Cruise ship passengers:
Disembark your ship, go down the gang way and through the arch way. You will see a fountain continue passed the fountain. You will see a sales booth, continue past that booth. You will see the parking lot for the buses, turn left fallowing the walk way. You will come to the booth that rents golf carts, continue on there is a sitting area, continue on there is another sales booth and just passed that you will see the transportation booth. It will have signs that read fisherman village and Mayan Ruins. That is where you will buy your tickets to go to town. There is a $3.00 USD charge for those tickets, at the time of your booking I will credit you that amount. This is a private port with their own regulations. They also own the transportation company at the port. There for they have a regulation that they are the only ones allowed to leave the port with passengers. Now you are on your way to town it is only about a 5 minute ride. From the drop off point you will be only about 20 meters (about 60 feet) from our office. Just walk south passed a 2 story private home, then a restaurant. At that point you will see your guide that will be waiting for you holding a sign that reads "Tucan Costa Maya" and you are there. Note: check your email, most days I am at the port to meet you.

Recommendations:
All the ruin site are in jungle settings, therefore insects are there. Insect repellant as well as long sleeved shirt and pants are suggested. There is a lot of walking, comfortable shoes are a must. You will be in the direct sun part of the time and all the time when you are climbing. Sunscreen and/or a hat should be brought. If you have any special needs please tell the guide before your departure, all the sites are very remote.
