Directions to our office in the village of Mahahual (the fishermen´s village) for cruise ship passengers.

The Port of Costa Maya as seen from your ship.

After you disembark you will walk or ride the shuttle from your ship to the main plaza at the port.

This is what you will see just outside the main plaza entrance.

You will enter the main plaza through this archway to the main plaza.

After entering through the archway you will fallow this walkway till you come to the fountain.

This is the fountain you will come too, it is just in front of a staircase you will pass under.

This is the staircase you will pass under. It is also the location of the only ATM in the area. If you need to withdraw money this is the ONLY place. There is no bank in the village.

When you pass under the stairs you will see this sales booth. Continue on passed it. Be careful not to be mislead here. They often try to confuse people on there way out, with stories of they are our representative of we are out of business. Competition of more then fears here at the port.

just past the sales booth you will come to the bus parking lot. Here you will turn left. NEW now you can take a local taxi, save money and time while supporting the local community! Cross the parking lot and follow the fence to the left till you come to the main gate. Turn right walk out the gate and you should be able to see the taxi station just 2 blocks down. See map with your confirmation letter.

Fallow this walkway, it maybe lined with buses. These are not your buses!

You will come to a bank of sales booths, transportation is the last booth (number 6) Here you maybe approached by salespersons that will tell you anything to try and get you to go with them. None of the are your contact. Your contact will have a copy of your confirmation letter. Pass the 5 sales booth and you are there.

This is the transportation booth where you will purchase your ticket for the village. They also sell tours and may try and convince you they are us. They are not we are in the village.

This is the line you will go to after you purchase your tickets to the village. It is normally a very short wait before the shuttle leaves.

These are the vans you will ride to the village in.

This is the drop off point for the shuttles. On ship days there are lines of taxis on both sides of the street. Walk south about 2blocks to our office.

You know you are walking south when your ship is to your back. You will pass a 2 story building and a restaurant on your right. You will see one of our guide holding a sign in front of our office.

You have made it! This is our office located in the crafter´s mall.

If you still feel the need or just want to talk with someone at the port email me and I will send you directions to my location at the port. This will not be your check in point. I can only answer questions and give directions.
