Q. Where do your tours depart from?
A. All of our tour depart from our office in the village of Mahahual. There is a shuttle that is operated by the port or a local taxi that will take you into the village. From the drop off point our office is only 2 blocks south. When you place your reservations you will receive a detailed instruction page and map.
Q. Is there a charge for the shuttle to town?
A. Yes there is a $3.00 USD p/p fee with the shuttle or the taxi.
Q. Why don´t you pick us up at the pier?
A. The port at Costa Maya is a private port, they have there own transportation company and only that company may leave the port with passengers.
Q. Can I just take a taxi for my party?
A. Yes, there is now a taxi station just outside the main gates of the port.
Q. Can I walk to town?
A. Yes, it is about 2 1/2 miles from the port to our office.
Q. What forms of payment do you except?
A. We use PayPal as our on-line payment system, this allows use to except many forms of payment in a safe, easy, and fast environment. Not familiar with PayPal Click Here to go to there site and check them out.

Q. Do I have to pay in full when I reserve on-line?
A. No, for those that would like to pay in full with there credit card. We send an invoice for the full price. No need to worry about rounding up the cash when you are in port.
For those that only want to pay a deposit, We send you an invoice for the required 30% deposit. With the balance being due at the port on the day of your tour. At the port we accept cash and travelers checks only, no credit cards. Exact change please.
Q. What if my ship does not dock or the weather is bad on the day of my tour?
A. If for any reason your ship does not dock you will receive a full refund with in 72 hours of your refund request.
If your ship docks late your to will be re scheduled if time permits. Please proceed to our check in booth as soon as you disembark.
In the event that we cancel the tour due to bad weather you will also receive a full refund. See refund policy |
